What Is Online Interior Design And Is It Right For You?

By now you have probably heard something about online interior design, e-design, virtual design or one of the other names that are out there. Like any level of design, there are many different options and quality of services available. I think a huge misconception is that it can’t be a custom quality option. That is exactly what I try to provide for my clients, each project is unique and custom to you.

If you are looking for a beautiful space that you can implement on your own within your budget, by purchasing the recommended items and placing them as the plan indicated, then this might be the perfect option for you. I LOVE that this option opens the doors for so many possibilities to help so many more people. I have created custom designs for people all over North America and even one in Africa.

Check out this video on how the process works for a room design package, one of my more popular options!

One problem that online interior design solves is if you are tight on time. Maybe you don’t have the time to meet with someone during normal 9 to 5 business hours, the great thing is everything is done online through email and on your own private project page on my website, that you will have access to forever. I send you concepts or inspiration options, you respond when you have a free moment. No need to book an appointment or to hire a babysitter to have a quiet meeting, it is all done on your terms, when you are ready.

I tackle my online clients in the exact same manner as my local clients. Everything starts with an initial consultation which is just done through a welcome packet that is emailed to you when you purchase a design. I gather all of the needed info, measurements, questionnaire, style quiz and photos of your space to start your custom design.

Now if you are looking for a beautifully designed space that you come home too and it’s a big reveal that you didn’t have to lift a finger achieving, then this is not a good option for you! A full-service local designer is what you would feel more comfortable with.
