I came across this blog post on One's King Lane last week, and I was reminded what a great fix a coat of paint can be . It would be a quick but dramatic update, and why not get creative and give one of these patterns a try. The simpler the pattern the easier it would be to make a quick job of it. Just clean the surface, prime with a good quality primer, and tape out your pattern. Ask you local paint store what would be the best choice of paint that will hold up to heavy washing. Also make sure to use a high quality brush or a foam roller so there isn't obvious brush stokes. You don't want it to look, like a bad Diy job!
